Because people like the bigot who thinks interracial marriage is diluting culture says that she would still be friends with someone in an interracial marriage, she'd just be opposed to that marriage. I, like many of the PPs, would rather that my friends be actually supportive of my lifestyle. If they are not supportive, though, I'd rather they tell me that they are opposed to my lifestyle so I can stop being friends with them.

I'm not in an interracial marriage, fwiw, but I'd still actually rather know if my friends are opposed to that sort of thing so I can find new friends. Don't give me this crap about how it's okay to have a different opinion than your friends. Having a bigoted opinion (which the interracial and/or gay marriage and immigrant opposers qualify for) isn't okay.[/quote]
