Kilmar is a CRIMINAL.
He hasn’t been found guilty of any criminal charges in a court of law. Our president, on the other hand, was found guilty of 34 felony charges in one trial and found liable for sexual abuse and defamation in another trial.

This has nothing to do with language. They are claiming fear of persecution and torture.
Democrat judges want to make it so that people cannot be deported to a third country.
He had an offer of going to Costa Rica, a Spanish speaking country, as a refugee. He turned it down.
If they do not want him deported to a third country, he can go to his home country of El Salvador, but that was rejected.
He can not just demand to stay here, just like I can't demand to stay in Italy.
It's not that hard.
Why can’t he just go to Spain?

You are a sick person.
DP.
Sure. In your warped mind anyone who believes in enforcing our immigration laws is sick.
The biggest difference between you and me isn't our position on Trump or Kilmar. It isn't even our critical thinking skills. Its that I believe in, and I will work to defend, the rule of law. I believe in the Constitution and due process. I believe in democracy. I believe that even the person with the darkest soul, who has committed the worst crimes, has rights. Even if I could send Stephen Miller to Uganda, I would not because it would go against everything this country stands for.
I believe in the rule of law and the Constitution as well. This guy has had his due process. He was ordered deported in 2019. That is democracy and our laws in action.
If you are not against illegal immigration, then you are not for our rule of law.
You people are so tiresome. We cant keep repeating the facts.
In any case, first he gets to sue Kristi Noem, Stephen Miller, Marco Rubio and Trump for alm the pain and suffering as well as the many ways they went against the rule of law.
LOL.
He'll need to get better attorneys to do that. His current attorney is grasping at straws.
Maybe he can get Chris Van Hollen to represent him.
I know this is probably way too complicated for your smooth brain to handle but let me try….
Spanish (the native language of Kilmar) is not commonly spoken in Uganda hence he does not speak the language. Spanish is commonly spoken in the USA by so many citizens that we regularly offer translations in spanish at government facilities like the MVA.
Don't you fund it just a tad bit curious that he lived in the US for over 10 years, yet is unable to speak English? Yet, he was able to get a driver's license - he is expected to read and follow ENGLISH traffic signs.
He must not be terribly intelligent if he hasn't learned a working knowledge of English in 10 years.
DP. You don’t need to know English to get a drivers license. Most or all states provide accommodations such as driving license tests in a variety of languages.
I’ve known a lot of immigrants over the decades, including European ones, who spoke very very little English. Most had very basic education in their home country and were just too busy making a living to take language classes.
What I do find very curious however is why Melania Trump, who has been in the US since 1996 so almost 30 years, speaks such poor English. You would think with all that money, at some point, she would’ve hired an
English language tutor to come to her home and give her private lessons. Given that she was on TV before she even married Trump giving interviews, you would think she would’ve wanted to strengthen her language skills. And if not then, surely after becoming First Lady.

And from another article:
ABREGO GARCIA UPDATE! JUDGE IN ABREGO GARCIA MATTER ORDERS THAT ADMINISTRATION IS "FORBIDDEN" TO REMOVE HIM FROM THE U.S.
This just in: During a hearing this afternoon Judge Xinis made *extremely* clear to the government:
"Your clients are absolutely forbidden at this juncture to remove Mr. Abrego Garcia from the continental United States. That is the understanding that we have?" (In other words, "Do you understand?")
To which the administration lawyer responded "Your honor, yes. We certainly understand that."
Judge Xinis also observed that threatening someone that unless they pleaded guilty to something - "assuring" them a deportation to a relatively benign place (Costa Rica) - that they would be deported to somewhere very dangerous was "unconstitutional" and did not sound like due process.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Well, as of today, 8/25, he's not going anywhere so it doesn't matter what any of us think.
I asked Grok about his current status:
Kilmar Abrego Garcia's attorneys have filed paperwork to prevent his deportation. On August 25, 2025, his lawyer, Simon Sandoval-Moshenberg, filed a habeas corpus petition to challenge his detention by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and potential deportation to Uganda. This legal action was assigned to U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis, who has been overseeing his case. Additionally, a federal judge issued an order on the same day temporarily blocking his deportation, at least through Wednesday, August 27, 2025, while further legal proceedings are considered.
Grok is not correct, he is already on a plane.
How do you know, PP? Do you work for ICE? I can't find anything to confirm that.
I work at BWI. He was escorted onto a plane at 11:45
