History tells us that a president with a 40% approval rating spells doom for their party in the present and during the next election cycle. The Dems could have run any bumbling fool against Trump and would have won in 2020 (which they did with Biden) and the GOP could have run any bumbling fool against Biden and/or his last minute replacement and would have won in 2024 (which they did with Trump). Weakness breeds weakness. If we keep electing Trumps and Bidens, things will only get worse. Let's learn from our mistakes and stop repeating them.[/quote]
