Flu is endemic.  We are still in the middle of the COVID pandemic.

First it was “flatten the curve.”  Then it was “wait for the vaccine.”  Then it was “wait for Delta to die down.”  Now it’s “wait for it to be endemic rather than pandemic (whatever that means).”  It’ll never end with the mask nuts. But fortunately, the rest of us are moving on. We’re done. [/quote]
