Yes, we all know this is why Youngkin won suburban moms who previously voted Democratic. Why is this such big news to this Pamela lady? Everybody else knew this.

+1 I don't want someone progressive anything. I want someone under 60, sane, fiscally smart and not morally repugnant. Youngkin fit that metric but I would have voted for a Democrat had that choice been available. [/quote]

There is no solution, no absolution, no path to forgiveness or making things right. That’s what people are tired of. If progressives actually presented real solutions for change they’d get more votes. But instead we are supposed to learn how terrible we are and then… nothing. [/quote]

1) Reflect on your own perspectives, opinions, and actions. 
2) Learn about how racism persists in US today. Look for other perspectives. Listen. Learn. 
3) Influence in your spheres. Say something. Look at who you know and talk to in your community. Look for ways to support black-owned businesses. Etc.

Encourage your representatives to:
Support (not ban) different perspectives, opinions, experiences. 
Support (not ban) anti-bias training. 
Examine policies that result in huge racial disparities - healthcare, education, wealth, justice.
