The judge has to provide a lot of info regarding what the infraction was since its provided to the team rep and coach. They need to be able to describe the infraction to the ref or chief judge and determine if it was clear or a judgment call. They need to confirm they wrote down the right heat and event so they don’t accidentally dq the wrong kid. Early in the season as a PP alluded, a single judge might be writing up slips on two or even three kids, esp 8&U. It helps a lot if you have a chief judge to work with the ref but it still can take time. [/quote]
