All-star Relays? That’s a no and off the table.
All other meets are a “go”.

I have never understood why the dq documentation process has to slow meets down so much.

We had one for time trials. Rain just prevented us from getting it tested abs practice setting up everything ahead of time.
I see. Thank you. We didn’t have one so we had to improvise.
For time trials do teams generally use certified officials?
At our pool, we do use certified officials for time trials.
Overall, I think yesterday went really well. It was a little slow; we seem to have a lot of 8 and unders this year so multiple heats of kids who aren't used to the process yet and the usual rash of DQs in back/breast/fly slowing things down. Heats definitely started moving faster once we hit the 11+ kids in each stroke. But my kid had some good swims and I think everyone really had fun.

Great time trials for our division 3 team today. Not a mask in sight. Felt like real life.
Ours was a bit disorganized. Slow, but yet chaotic at times. After a year away I think a lot of people didn’t know what they were doing.
disogranized, slow and chaotic is every time trial
Yes, I’ve been through many, but usually we at least have a working starter system. 🤷♂️
Yep. Our was slow! Rain Thursday/Friday prevented us from testing our starter systems. But there were virtually no masks, kids had a blast, did cheers in the team area, clerk of course was normal and crowded. Wonderful morning!
What did you do without a starter system?
