I heard it was the other way around. ECNL clubs losing players to Arlington and other GA clubs. The ECNL clubs in our area are not very competitive in the region and do not get the college coaches’ interest. We all know if an ECNL club is not a region top club it’s hard to get seen.[/quote]

VDA is the only club with a strong teams after the DA formation. They seem to be doing fine.  Mclean and BRYC younger teams are pretty weak and there is no influx from surrounding clubs. Hell there is a steady stream of girls leaving Mclean first team to lower teams at other clubs. That should scare the sh@t out of the club. McLeans is a mess and all the surround clubs know this. Loudoun should be okay but they do not depend on other clubs likes Mclean and BRYC.

These thing change. Clubs rise and fall.  The only thing that matters is your kids team and coach not the club.
