Buy a house in your name, don't pay rent.  Who will pay the rent when he is gone.  Grab what you can, you have 3-5 years left, or else move up to 50+ years olds.  [/quote]

I think OP meant that he gives her the $33.6k once a year in a lump sum into her account somehow and then presumably she uses it each month to pay rent. I don't think he pays her rent directly annually. [/quote]
