Noting that our provider announced they would open at 9am and were then told they could not open. So it wasn't just a typo. They made a choice, dug in and are now facing blowback for making the psychotic decision to open high schools before letting child care providers open.

Absolutely a disingenuous apology. All of the major before care providers called in to check to see if they could open. Had it been a mistake, you think they would have realized the error after the second call from Bar-T, KAH, etc, and would have made a correction, rather than leaving parents stuck until 11 am.[/quote]

Yeah, I don't believe it was a mistake like they're trying to imply.  But hopefully it means this is less likely to happen again in the future, even if they are allergic to admitting they could possibly be wrong about anything.

That said, their website still has "morning child care is cancelled" under Code Yellow so I would not let up until we see that change: https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/emergency/closings/#codeyellow
