He looks and sounds dangerous and unhinged. How is he acting appropriately? If that was a guy off the street, in front of your kids’s school, you’d want him arrested.
Throw his a s s in jail. There is way to ask questions respectfully. The security team did their job. End of story
+500. In this time of violence & high emotions, an unknown guy starts yelling at the Sec of Homeland Security & moving towards her…. I was watching the scene live, & it seemed just like every other situation one sees these days in which some activist disrupts the proceedings with loud inappropriate speech.
He wasn't unknown. He had to have credentials to even be at that spot. Why are you so defensive?
“some activist” 🙄 He’s a sitting United States Senator. He showed ID to get in, clearly stated his name at the beginning, and he’s a colleague of Noem’s. MAGA always has to lie and gaslight to justify their thuggery.
Clearly not a well known senator. Seems like his strategy was to become better known. Mission accomplished.
His 15 minutes of fame was interrupted by something that really happened.
He’s a United States Senator who hasn’t been in office long, what are you talking about? He was being escorted by an FBI agent and another agent and he asked them if he could go into the press conference. They said yes and he went to the back of the room. This guy, Senator Padilla, is a son of immigrants who graduated from MIT and was previously Secretary of State in California. He’s listening to Homeland Secretary who couldn’t define Habeas Corpus from the constitution, extremely important in her job. He couldn’t sit still any longer when she started in on the stupidest crap ever. She said - “We are staying here to liberate the city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that this governor and that this mayor have placed on this country and what they have tried to insert into the city.” That’s when he moved to the front and said “I am Senator Padilla…” and they rushed him. How could anyone with a brain sit back and let a statement like that go. These are the leaders that the people of California elected. She is a complete moron. And before you try and defend it, imagine if Kamala won. She elects the head of agencies from MSNBC. Newly appointed Homeland Security Secretary Katie Tur goes down to Oklahoma to liberate Oklahoma City from the tyrants and their dictator ways.
