Where is the deep misogyny? Point me to the concrete examples. You can't, because there aren't any. In fact, women in this country are succeeding at rates never before seen in the world. At the primary, secondary, college, and graduate levels, there are more women than men, especially in demanding fields. Wage gap is a myth--it's due to differences in career choice and child-bearing choices. I know why you posted this--because you think Harris losing is an example. She lost because she was horrible. If you want to blame someone, blame the media and the Democratic Party--which is a joke. The places where women are attacked, on the athletic fields and in Gaza, are for "some reason" ignored.
Here’s exhibit A of the deep misogyny in our society. First, there is no child bearing “choice” that women make that men do not. Men can’t have the babies. If you want kids in our society then women MUST “choose” to have kids. It’s not an option for men, so quit your BS on this issue. Second, women don’t “choose” low-paying fields en masse. Jobs historically begin to pay less as more women enter those careers. Because women aren’t valued. Teaching used to be a decently paying, well-respected position, for example. Until women began teaching in significant numbers. Now we as a society expect them to do it for peanuts and guilt them for even thinking about themselves (after all, don’t they care about the children!?)
