I just can’t seem to keep it up. I ate an entire sleeve of cookies for dinner last night. What is wrong with me? I think I have to start tracking my calories again to lose these pounds. I’m starting to track calories today. Ugh! Plan: oatmeal with blueberries and milk Salad with falafel for lunch Some kind of dinner that isn’t junk food No snacks. Low sugar. I can’t afford to eat junk everyday for the rest of my life. It’s not even that good tasting!! Hope things are better for you guys. Kate
I’m sorry Kate, it’s so hard. The thing about food is you can undo all your will power in a minute. I’ll be so careful all day and then bam a moment of weakness/being triggered and it’s so easy to eat 600 calories of absolute trash. I like the suggestion to listen to a podcast- I haven’t actually tried that one but I’m going to put it in my list! My kids are small so I don’t have a lot of time to listen but putting some thing on while I clean is a good idea. I’ve also seen people talk about one called maintenance phase. Kate, let’s pick something we can do instead of eating sugar at least for today. If I want to eat sugar to deal with my feelings I’m going to go smell something relaxing and do 10 jumping jacks. Both of those have worked for me in the past. I had a couple sips of my kid’s milkshake yesterday and I don’t regret that. It’s the mindless/emotional eating that I hate. We can do it. Good luck all - Alexandra
