OP with the great daughter here. Thank you! She is great. It was a comical morning opening gifts. Many of them had the names wrong on the tags that my mom wrapped. So it was a bit like a game. DS1 opens a gift that he has zero use for, looks around the room and DS3 makes eye contact and does hand gestures that he likes it. So it is quietly passed over. DS2 opens a gift that is obviously for his dad. 
Unfortunately,  I think a pp is correct and grandma needs a cognitive evaluation. [/quote]
