Homeschooling families routinely buy paperback AP prep books and have the kids learn the material. They also check out AP prep materials from public libraries or find them for cheap or free on-line. At BASIS, some students take their first AP tests, world history and/or calculus, in 8th grade. Latin doesn't tend to go extra mile on AP prep.[/quote]
