Incorporating R10 could provide justification to reassign Rosemont ES-Forest Oak MS to feed into Crown HS down the road (to help alleviate the pressure from Gaithersburg HS)?
Rosemont is definitely going to crown as crown is currently in the rosemont boundary. That’s not new
Right, they could move the Rosemont island to Crown, but the other parts east of 270 are within the GHS walk zone.
I feel they will move the entire school to balance farm rate
They're not going to make kids who currently walk to GHS instead ride a bus to Crown.
I don’t think most crown will be split articulation at ES level. They also have split articulation of fallsmead and Ritchie park. That will not set the new high school well. Kids will hate going there that they are forced to separated from their friends.
There is no split articulation at RPES. They do have split articulation at Cold Spring ES.
Falls grove may go to crown and the rest goes to Richard Montgomery. Cold spring is not split articulation at all, everyone goes to the same middle school and high school except the magnet program
I was addressing -- "They also have split articulation of fallsmead and Ritchie park. " -- there is no split articulation *right now*.
And yea, I meant CSES split articulations starts in MS where that ES is the only one in the cluster that goes to CJMS. The rest of the ES in the cluster goes to Frost. Then they all end up in Wootton. Same thing will probably happen with some ES and Crown HS.

And except Kennedy and Wheaton, on Randolph Road. Oh, and Blair, on University at Colesville. And Northwest and Seneca Valley, on Great Seneca Highway. And Clarksburg, on 355. And Quince Orchard, on 28. And B-CC, on East-West Highway. And Northwood, on University. And Damascus, on Ridge Road. And Gaithersburg, on 355. And Sherwood, on Olney Sandy Spring Road. And Walter Johnson, which is just as close to "major commuter roads" as the high school at Crown will be.
Other than that, though...
Honestly, PP, I'm seriously confused by your line of argument. Did you just move to Montgomery County last week, with a kindergartner?
Don’t you read the previous post I’m relying to? It’s talking about alleviating traffic for the other four schools. It doesn’t make any difference for them
