This is not true.

Many of the SLAC's we visited, for example, allow no clubs on campus that would not accept anyone who wanted to join.

You are the one with a dearth of intelligence...no one said anything about auditioning and buying friends.  The comment was clear, cliques exist whether sanctioned or not, it is human nature.  To believe any environment where young adults are massed together doesn't include said cliques is dense and naïve.  You can site all of the pristine SLAC BS you want, at the end of the day their will be cliques whether your feeble mind wants to accept it or not.[/quote]
