I'm not surprised, he's always been a showman. But did he actually break any laws over the taxes? I thought people were expecting tax fraud? So far there isn't any that I can tell.
Did you was the whole article?
Yes. And there's nothing to show he broke laws. I thought the tax returns were supposed to show stuff that he'd go to prison for. Maybe I was wrong. But so far nothing we've seen shows Trump breaking laws. He did file his returns, he didn't commit tax fraud.
Time to wake up. Actually I feel sorry for you.
I don't think you read the article. The consulting fees paid to Ivanka, a Trump employee, were made to reduce and deflate his income? Tax fraud. Falsely declaring a private residence as a business investment? Tax fraud. There's more but those are some easy examples that jumped out. Also the nearly $79 million tax refund seems to have been based on lies. Tax fraud.
Bingo. There’s a whole lot of tax evasion (not avoidance) in those returns. And those clutching their pearls that they do the same with their real estate investments aren’t actually reading the news article.
So what’s going to happen then? Happy October...
