No. The ECNL is about protecting its existing clubs. You really think Mclean wants Arlington girls in the ECNL? Mclean success was built on being the only game in town pre da. They had their pick of players from DC, Alexandria, Arlington, 1/2 of Fairfax and some from lower Moco. Mclean can not let Arlington get in to the ECNL. [/quote]

And that all depends on the GAL.  If it isn’t what it’s cracked up to be, players will bolt. I’m sure plenty of FCV and Metro girls already did, Arlington teams probably holding out hope for ECNL next year.  If they don’t join, it’ll be a drip drip drip of players the older it gets.[/quote]

Not if the teams at mclean are weak. They will go to other clubs. The way it works is the strong teams attract strong players. DA started 2017 for girls...that’s would be the 05’s. How are McLean’s 06’s and below? [/quote]
