I asked my 10 year old what he thought of the halftime show: “Awful. Too much sexual content. I thought Shakira was going to get groped in the stands.” Out of the mouths of babes.
This was my exact thought! As a young person, I went to many punk shows and the girls who crowd surfed got groped while the girls who jumped in the mosh pit got punched.
Are you guys so stupid that you think the "crowd" was just random people. They were part of the show. Holy Camole!
A 10 year old might not realize that. In real life, women do get groped when crowdsurfing or even walking in a bar/club. It’s not okay (obviously), but it happens. The kid was worried about her safety. He was smart enough to imagine a scenario of drunk men in the stands doing something wrong. Perhaps if the mothers on dcum taught their daughters to avoid dangerous situations... While all the 40 something house fraus thought JLo looked hot (and ftr she did), I imagine most kids were like, “Who’s that?” They don’t know her music and they wondered why a mom was dressed that way and dancing on a pole. One of my kids said they should have had Cardi B or “someone people have heard of.” You JLo fans are old ;0)
and it's the job of the mother to correct him. 1. that is not a crowd they are dancers. 2. they better not grope her... women are not responsible for men's actions. Most young kids know who all the artists are, maybe your kids should not be so close minded. He must not know baseball or soccer either.
