The other elephant in the room is that our economic system requires a lot of cheap labor and there aren't a lot of great solutions for how to change that.
Exactly. We have to pay workers like dirt. There’s no alternative!
DP.. then why do Trump's resort keep hiring cheap foreign labor if there is alternative?
Because, like most big companies, Trump’s companies only care about profit. How is this difficult for you to understand?
Illegal immigration keeps wages low for unskilled Americans. Why do democrats support illegal immigration at the expense of poor Americans. If our country did the right thing and deported most illegal immigrants, unskilled Americans would be better paid -supply and demand. Why do democrats want to keep unskilled Americans poor???
votes also dems hate blue collar workers
Bull. It's the Dems trying to protect work protections for blue collar workers - fair wages, living wages, fair leave laws, safety and environmental regs. It's the R's that are rolling back all of that. So the proof is in the platform and Republicans don't have a leg to stand on there. As far as votes, again, Republicans are the ones that gerrymandered the hell out of many, many states to give them unfair advantages (NC, PA). And it's a PA Republican who flat out said he would ignore the Supreme Court ruling finding unlawful gerrymandering in that state. But, nice try. Con-nesia strikes again.
