Go and take a look at the rosters on Indy Premier United, one of the GAs more successful clubs currently.

About 1/2 the roster is from Indianapolis area where they are… the rest is from other states or 4+ hour drives with players carded to other clubs too.

One club in the DMV could do this but they need to be able to stay financially solvent without boys to make it happen. FCV pulled it off for about a decade until the boys money game reality ended things. So in short, never happening here unless NoVa keeps losing ECNL teams then it could happen at VDA and is kind of already happening at Bethesda in MD. Girls drive from all over MD and NoVA sometimes to play with the best[/quote]
