I read the article as well.  It was a dissection of a Trump event in Sarasota at which the majority of attendees were retirees in their dotage.  I did not interpret the term wrinklies as a perjorative, but rather a setup for the juxtaposition of senior citizens enjoying their retirement -- not to mention Social Security and Medicare -- in a carnival-like atmosphere (complete with a real-life pachyderm graffitied in chalk with the Trump campaign mantra) with Trumps
'S message of despair about the hapless state of our Nation under Obama.  I particularly enjoyed the professed Christian who apparently believed there were lots of things she couldn't say, including "Merry Christmas."  The only point missing was the number of these wrinklies with mobility scooters who were regular Fox Newsvviewerd who viewed the US and rest of the world through that distorted prism.  Like it or not, Trump's support skews elderly and otherwise lower income and less educated.[/quote]

Only the "elderly" remember what free speech was. We do not have that now. You are "free" to support the approved causes, but you cannot say many other things. Common sense things like "why do we need undocumented Syrians?" HRC is a crook. The n word has become a stick to beat people with and a source of power to the liberal left, and so on. people are tired of everything is "racist" The constant hand wringing about how we just cannot DO anything because someone will be "offended" is ridiculous also. We cant enforce our countries laws? There are just so many topics that Trump brings up that make you realize how passive and weak the current administration is, and how they support causes that have nothing to do with the average American. Trump is far from perfect, but the alternatives are not wonderful either. I think there will be a huge backlash.[/quote]
