She needed to ask him to help her with her dress before leaving. It’s why servants often wore baggy stuff that slipped over the head with then an apron or an overdress corset type thing that laced in front— and rich people needed dressers. You couldn’t do buttons on your back yourself and lacing wasn’t much better. [/quote]
