French castle lady said I wouldn’t actually enjoy owning a medieval castle because the maintenance is too much much money. I believe her because on DCUM, I'm getting ads for French and Italian castles that are available for the price of a big fancy house in Bethesda. It's not a cope if you have a $3M castle but the roof's falling in, the septic system is failing, the plumbing 100 years old and springing pinhole leaks, and it has original electrical wiring. There are no more peasants to command to help you in exchange for vanquishing neighborhood foes.[/quote]
