Or read a book. Or, hell, let them curl up under some blankets and watch a movie. Or for older kids, let them sleep. It will all be ok.

How about we normalize "It's just a snowstorm" and if we need to stay home, or if we're feeling anxious about it, keep our kids home. If you're not experienced in driving in snow, stay home. If you aren't comfortable going out, don't go. I just feel like every storm in this area becomes this fever pitch of fear and anxiety and it's exhausting.

It's SNOW. It happens. And it (God willing) is going to keep happening. We just all need to relax about it. [/quote]

I don't know anyone who experiences the type of anxiety you're describing. I think it's just you.   Most of us just want to get our work done and our kids educated.  Nothing more, nothing less. [/quote]
