It doesn't.[/quote] It's the reason behind the use of the term "cis" that really has everyone the most upset. Why? Because 98% of the population believe Woman/Girl=Female and Man/Boy=Male -- therefore this is the norm. Period. Why start using a term and forcing people to use a term that is not necessary? The default -- as it is 98% the norm -- is that women are female and men are male. The other 2% are the exception and must use "trans" -- meaning Trans Man or Trans Woman. The majority are "cis" - there is simply no need to use "cis" as a descriptor. [/quote]
