NP. I’m a registered Democrat who voted for Harris, but I make it a point to consume media across the political spectrum. It is remarkable how different the right-wing is now, particularly with respect to their concept of hope. They want kids. They aren’t doom-spiraling. They aren’t, for the most part, depressed. They are angry, some of them, for reasons I can’t exactly discern (seems disproportionate to their actual lot in life, which isn’t so bad overall). But I don’t see this deep hopelessness.

No, that is neither fair nor correct. Those five kids are cherished. I am politically very opposite of these folks, but I do not support falsehoods.
