Totally different story when it comes to middle school where all the kids are studying each other and trying to find differences and trying to figure out who they are...

New poster.  It is erroneous, pp.  You certainly won't see a highly successful DCPS middle school without strong white participation for the simple reason that white is a proxy for upper-middle-class in this city.   Without affluent parents on board in large numbers, at least one-third of families behind the school, the institution will struggle endlessly on many levels,   I admire you for being willing to roll up your sleeves, but picking your battles counts for more.
