And they make laws that kill pregnant women despite not understanding how ectopic pregnancies and sepsis work, apparently.

So no, I don't think someone who can never experience these things can understand them.  At least, that's the only explanation I can come up with on why men continue to do the things they do - a lack of empathy.  If it's not a lack of empathy, what is it?[/quote]
+1. One time my husband and I were in a dangerous area. I said I was scared and asked if he was scared. He said, I never feel scared. It was eye opening. I realized what a different experience we each have had in our lives. It's ike when men find out how common it is for a woman to have had some, if not several, sexual transgressions against her throughout her life.[/quote]
