It wasn't because of affordability. It was because of the heat - particularly the summers. The summers is southern FL are unbearable for many compared to GA or TN. The state gained about 740,000 residents from out of state in 2022."[/quote] That’s surprising to hear if they came from South Florida which usually has a nice coastal breeze that helps with the heat. I’ve found summers in Georgia to be far worse and I’ve lived in both places. [/quote]
