Maybe if you ever got out of your bubble and noticed that your spittle-accented rants at strangers in the grocery store aren’t getting the enthusiastic reception you expect, maybe if you hadn’t driven away your son and daughter in law by repeatedly insulting both of them, maybe if you hadn’t built yourselves a metaphorical castle and pulled up the draw bridge with nothing but you and the crazies inside… maybe then you’d notice.
