If you stick with the original assertion, which is that rates of violence against other marginalized groups are actually significantly higher than rates of violence against transgender people, you will find that transgender people are actually one of the safer groups of marginalized people in the US. That’s not to excuse violence against transgender people, which is of course inexcusable, but it makes the overwrought claims of “genocide” very suspect, when as a group transgender people are actually doing pretty well compared to other marginalized groups that are terribly victimized in this country.
