I do not think anyone is saying Capital Blue is the second-best team in the DMV.  They are the BEST team in the DMV.

The OP makes no reference to any team being better than another. The reference I read was to a ranking at a particular time leading up to the start of when teams would get more serious about recruiting.

The poster clearly notes both teams had talented players and complimented Capital on its recruiting success. You seem to be so fearful of any other club getting recognition you completely overlooked the point of the post, the impact clubs and their recruiting directors can have on recruiting success.

The sad part in all of this is the DMV had two great teams in the country going into the start of the recruiting process for 2023s, which would suggest strong lacrosse talent on both teams, yet one club had tremendous success with recruiting, the other not. If the talent were comparable then this seems to demonstrate the impact a club's reputation, it's executive director, it's recruiting director, and coaches can have on recruiting success.[/quote]
