Agree with this. I also think the emotional abuse continued after the split, and that she can prove she tried to come to terms with his buying out her share of the business. The kids are not stupid, they saw how much stress this caused her. Considering what he did to the family, seems like he was a real @sshole after the fact too. From another website:

Yes, being accused of Domestic Violence enraged him, as it would anyone.  During the entire scorched earth and mostly-public divorce, Pitt has remained silent and has tried to do things quietly and amicably, for the sake of the children.  Jolie has chosen the other route. [/quote]
