This is not an excuse. They used the Yellowjacket name, they were representing the YJMA club. Period.

When players join up on an unaffiliated team to play in tournaments a reputable club would not permit them to use the club’s name.  For instance, the team “Storm” in the Snowflake division was mostly Capital players but did not use the Capital name or any variation. The use of YJ must have been sanctioned and may well have been used for promotional purposes if the team had won.

Also, whatever the age or affiliation of the coach of that team, the person shouldn’t be allowed to coach again. There are excellent high school aged coaches.    It’s about character and sportsmanship, not age. [/quote]
