You have access anytime you want to multiple national media platforms to speak your mind. The young women in dc are hotter than back in your home state capital. Especially if you are a senator from a state that has less caucus “leader” influence from the opposing party (Alaska, Maine, nh, wv, az etc) you have lots of power to sink things and walk around like a king/queen. The downside is senate requires way more fundraising if you don’t have a vast fortune or personal juice to fall back on. Governor is a lot of responsibility. It’s a lot more work. You have to deal with a lot of dry and boring subject matter. [/quote]
