Voting is great. The bolded is not because: 1. There are no unions in VA much less any that are prioritized. THis is misinformation which is why we have schools, so kids can be smart and understand when they see misinformation. 2. The language here “indoctrinate” “compliant”. No schools teach kids to think critically, which may be different that the way you think and you may want to stop that in your child, but it doesn’t mean kids aren’t taught to think critically. 3. I agree, but your words and arguments aren’t rational.
DP 1. I think most of us know that there are not any "official teachers' unions" at this point. However, FCPS School Board seems to recognize them and follow their requests. They have publicly supported them and have pledged to begin collective bargaining this school year. However, it seems that our SB did listen to Kimberly Adams this year and followed almost all requests--except, perhaps for requiring all students to be vaccinated before we had in-person classes. I think that even Adams pulled that back because it was a step too far. So, if you do not believe that the SB prioritized union wishes, you have not been paying attention. 2. If you follow the training that adminisitrators were given and read the "equity" proposals, you will know that the rules have changed. Go take a look at the 'equity" material.
