Lol. You sound like you’re not from around here. Let me educate you as I’ve lived here for 50 years. FCPS was in its glory days under republican oversight. The republicans put FCPS on the map. Liberals are systematically destroying the fairfax schools.

Not either PP. But, the SB did bow to Teachers' Unions. And, they were pushing "equity" and "anti-racism."
Wait. Is anti-racism a bad thing now?
You want to *keep* racist policies?

When math is considered racist, they’ve entirely lost the plot.

Right now, they’ve been asking for parents to review curriculum resources. They’ve had similar reviews of materials within the year. I bet very few of you have done that. Have you served on a school board advisory committee? Played an active role in the PTA or countywide PTAs like the special education one? There’s so many ways to be involved but it takes some effort and might not make you famous.
I vote for people who can do it for me - so I don't have to do it all myself. That's how I try to outsource.

Voting is great.
The bolded is not because:
1. There are no unions in VA much less any that are prioritized. THis is misinformation which is why we have schools, so kids can be smart and understand when they see misinformation.
2. The language here “indoctrinate” “compliant”. No schools teach kids to think critically, which may be different that the way you think and you may want to stop that in your child, but it doesn’t mean kids aren’t taught to think critically.
3. I agree, but your words and arguments aren’t rational.

They are angry their kids didn't go to school last year.
End stop.
If you can't handle your emotions, how do you expect your kid to?

Voting is great !! Everyone should agree.

Well, McAuliffe seemed to think there were far too many white teachers.
Remember his plan to pay for tuition and room and board for HBCU colleges if there would be a commitment to teach 5 years?
He said that 50% of Virginia students are of color--but I didn't see him offering to pay room, board, and tuition for Asian kids.
