From the club admin perspective, LMVSC (Lula) has considered SYC a bit of a thorn in the side, as apparently just within the last couple of years SYC charged significantly lower fees for travel soccer (~$1000/yr for SYC, vice ~$2000/yr at LMVSC) while offering a substantially similar product to a player pool in the same geographic area. I know this because she would bring it up it at coaches' meetings. I think that SYC has raised its fees now, though, so maybe not as much of an issue anymore.[/quote]
