You're the same poster who keeps posting with the grammatical errors. Despite what you say, you're clearly a part of SYC. Your conclusions are delusional at best. The coaches he's bringing are taking the jobs of current SYC coaches and they will be finding different clubs to go to. Those families will be going out of their way to follow coaches. Also, the SYC top players are supposed to play in CCL2 for a year with the promise of playing in CCL the following year? What hyper competitive NOVA parent is going to agree to that? Please learn about punctuation and grammar before you reply, it's really quite embarrassing. Spellcheck isn't a new invention.

Your Attack doesn't change the future for YOUR club. The smokescreen on grammatical errors and punctuation will not keep you afloat (lula)

Your delusions can be treated by medicine and therapy. The future of your club rests on the ability of your TD to bring over players from another club. Nobody at SYC seems to think anyone is going to leave. Your parents and players see the shameless recruiting and they will be ready to walk at the end of the season. 0 commitment to development, 0 commitment to your players, and 100% commitment to posting as much on any media platform that lets you.

LMVSC is not a powerhouse.
SYC acquiring LMVSC staff is not a boon.
Based on the showings so far at the Richmond Cup, not really seeing what the bragging is about

Look at who picked up the coaches who were fired... McLean, Alexandria and one more who shall remain unnamed. These are great clubs.

"SYC has strong teams for both boys and girls, making them a competitively balanced organization. Though they have undergone some restructuring, they certainly are not starting from scratch: the 2006 Boys are state champions, the 2007 Boys are ranked first in the state, and a number of teams played in the first division at The Jefferson Cup."

SYC used the Boys 2006 and 2007 as the reason the club is a good fit. Both of their coaches were fired.

The "State Champs" will play CC2 for 1 year?

They did not mention any strong teams on the girls side.

I see more kids leaving for BRYC and not LMVSC.

CCL II Fall 2019, CCL I Fall 2020.

Pull? You mean his group of friends (and fam)? Not saying they aren't legitimately good coaches, but let's be realistic here.
He's not actually attracting coaches away from other clubs; he's just taking care of his chums.

As to his commitment to changing SYC, see the line above...and...
He went around the CCL clubs lobbying them to let SYC in by saying he's going to steal their best coaches and teams/players, and make it LMVSC at SYC.

At first, I thought maybe he was really interested in a challenge of building SYC into a power, but now it seems much more disingenuous.

I think nowadays parents are more informed about clubs, leagues, and changes to the team. Like most NOVA parents that are on the sidelines coaching everything is either researched and/or spoken about with other parents. I would do the same for an investment of 3k. I think the drop off parent is in the minority these days.

There is little/no animosity between LMVSC and SYC on the levels of coaches or players.

From the club admin perspective, LMVSC (Lula) has considered SYC a bit of a thorn in the side, as apparently just within the last couple of years SYC charged significantly lower fees for travel soccer (~$1000/yr for SYC, vice ~$2000/yr at LMVSC) while offering a substantially similar product to a player pool in the same geographic area. I know this because she would bring it up it at coaches' meetings.

I think that SYC has raised its fees now, though, so maybe not as much of an issue anymore.

What's funny about this is depending on which series of posts you read, you could substitute either club/ED/TD combination and likewise hope your coach stays.

I have never heard of any animosity. I don’t recall ever playing LMVSC so not like there is a rivalry. They are close proximity for some SYC players.

IDK, crowing about the end of LMVSC seems less than friendly. Or is that just the general snobbish attitude of stereotypical soccer parents?

I doubt that was an actual SYC parent. More like a bridge dweller.
SYC has zero to be snobbish about.
