They play internal matches, because Barca does not want to release them into the wild before they are ready, to avoid embarrassment to the brand.  The lower divisions of NCSL or ODSL would make a good fit though.[/quote]

I thought the same thing, but after talking to a few other families I found out that there are a few handful of kids that joined this year with us that came from first teams at some of the larger clubs in the area.   My son played on the first team of a large local club but we weren't happy with the coach so thought we would give Barca a try.  Based on that small piece of info alone I think they could be very competitive in any league.[/quote]

I know of a small handful from last year who left us for top area teams as well.  I didn't see such a net new influx of talent at tryouts to think that we will be competitive with area top teams.  I think the lower divisions of leagues are still the best fit.
