NP — I was just going to say, that wasn’t why that post by a woman was offensive. It was, and I am rarely offended.
Why was it offensive?
NP here I didn't find it offensive either. She stated what she actually reads in the over 50 forum. The truth is a lot of women and men let themselves go. Society is still more forgiving of men for this especially if they have money (eg, Donald Trump and Melania). its also an excuse that you have to be rich to look good. by 50 you should know how to dress in a way that flatters you and is age appropriate and stylish without costing a fortune. You can still exercise. I am mid 40s and do crossfit and OTF and yoga regularly and wok full time with a young child. I do spend money on skin care such as botox and laser treatments a couple times a year. This is not a herculean task ladies. Men don't change, whether they are 21 on tinder or 55 on Match, the first and probably only thing they pay attention to on online dating sights is the photo. and yes I met my husband online and he as progressive as they come and he admits that all he cared about were the photos.
