At risk of sounding like a clueless white woman, I wonder why she didn't choose to wear more Indian outfits? When she stepped off the plane in Solani (Indian-British designer) I was hopeful she would lean into theme dressing for the week. Even in that pic, she's dressed like the world's most mediocre midlevel bank manager and the interviewer is in a sari, so a sari wouldn't have been inappropriate. [/quote]

I'm Indian-American and I am right there with you!! And the crazy thing is that they've been dressing their children in Indian clothes. They are far better dressed than her. She doesn't even need to be in a sari, she could wear something like her daughter is wearing (except obviously a longer top).
