That's different. Iran gets $300B for reparations AND unfrozen assets (probably +interest). We were told Trump was a deal maker playing 4d chess. This is pure surrender.

Again - get a grip and educate yourself.  The $300 billion is a reconstruction fund made up of private investors and companies from the Gulf countries and elsewhere around the world.  The U.S. isn't paying Iran one cent.  And Iran *only* has access to the fund if they comply with the rest of the agreement, to include no longer pursuing a nuclear weapon.

The frozen assets (no interest) belonged to Iran in the first place.  I'd say this is a pretty good deal.

I wanted the war to end too (never wanted it in the first place) but that doesn't mean I'm not going to be upset that the US is now so incompetent they put together this "deal".  It's worse than had we just done an Irish goodbye on the region.[/quote]
