Watched some Indy games. Not sure they are that impressive. Good but very beatable. They have shooters and dodgers and they are picking apart bad defenses and mediocre shots are going in on so so goalies. Defense is solid. Offense is meh in my take. I actually think their defense is more of an asset than their offense. They force it and turn it over in the middle of the field and on offense more than most of the good teams in this area. If BF plays better defense than their first couple outings and their goalie goes 50% they should win. Any of the top contender coaches in 6a, Madison, Robo, YT, Cobsy will be able to gameplan very well against Indy.
I cant disagree with you more. They and Battlefield are the only two team I have watched that generate consistent offense. What I see is that what you may call mediocre shots are just dump-ins and easy goals. I have been on the forum for several years and have noted that far too many kids these days think a 15+yard high to high is a good shot. There is a reason the PLL gives 2 for a 15+yd shot, as they are low percentage. Having watched them a ton last year in 5 an d enough this year, you will not shut them down and game plan, as they have 9 players on the field that can and will score on you at any given time. They remind me of Riverside a few years back. Good luck out there in FFX and class 6, Indy will win states this year.
While I agree that too many kids these days take 15 yard step downs, they aren’t the worst quality of shot at the high school level with high school goalies. The biggest difference between high school and college/ppl is the consistency and the skill of goalies; that is why they are rewarded with 2 points for what may not be the worst take in high school.
