I don’t think hospitals are deliberately hiding this but with a shortage of tests, if someone dies of an unspecified “respiratory illness” I would guess the protocols for testing and reporting vary widely around the country. This is not conspiracy talk. It’s just the reality of what happens in chaos with limited resources. There simply aren’t enough tests, and I would think (hope) health care workers are a higher priority than a dead person. [/quote]
