The U.K. delayed acting upon the impending coronavirus threat. Boris wanted to take a wait and see approach hoping that “herd immunity” would stop the spread. He was wrong and now it’s too late...
They have 60 million people and 3,000 deaths and 34,000 positive cases. The government also believes they will peak around April 12. All in all, not too bad.
The herd immunity will stop the spread. It's a question of time. The shutdown and flattening the curve only prolongs the inevitable.

Losing 250K from COVID19 would just be a blip, because not all of those deaths would be "extra", some amount would have happened this year anyway.
The misery in peoples lives due to poverty is going to top any death toll we can get here.

Because it didn't make sense. If he had shared information explaining the situation or his plan, that would have been good. But he didn't.
Also, you spelled Donald wrong.
Did you hear Nancy or Chuck saying they didn't understand why the President had to cut flights from China?
If The Donald wants to act like a dictator instead of a leader, well, he's in the wrong country.
He's doing it wrong. Too bad. This could have been his time to shine. He didn't.
