If you are not a xenophobe a racist a homophobe a sexist or bigot, then she didn't insult you. If you are, why should we need to spare your Feelings?
I am, as a white Jew, more afraid if BLM and Muslim extremists as both have said they want me dead. Progressive liberals give them a pass.
Ironic that BLM, a group determined to expose and get sympathy for bigotry against blacks, is bigoted against Jews. In fact, I find it ironic that blacks, in general, are more antisemitic than other groups. Asians appear to be the least antisemitic.
Farrakhan is a BLM supporter. The anti-Semitic views are no surprise. Farrakhan hates Jews, whites and gays. He is big on conspiracy theory - claiming the Jews own Hollywood, the government and the media.
So Farrakhan's a bigoted asshole. That doesn't make everyone in BLM a bigot. Just as a Republican Party member who is a bigot doesnt make the entire Republican Party a racist organization.
It only takes one powerful bigot to sway a nation. Stop being simple.
Uh, no, that is not accurate. The bigot has to have allies who are well-placed within the political and economic systems in order to affect policy and the nation's direction. Farrakhan is a huge asshole but the truth is that his power is extremely limited. He can't even garner support from the majority of BLM activists. Calling me "simple" isn't going to change that.
Farrakhan's NOI has supporters in mosques housed in over 120 cities. NOI has anywhere from 20-50,000 supporters. point is this - that while not all BLM supporters are NOI adherents, there's still overlap If you think Farrakhan isn't a persuasive leader who feeds off those who hate whites, Jews and the LBGT community, you're living in a bubble.
Oh and based on that he's going to "sway a nation"? You're the one living in a bubble if you can't differentiate one black activist from another, let alone understand the diverse views within the African American community.
