The girls and parents of 8th graders who start on a good club team believe that means they will make and contribute to varsity as freshman at A conference schools. They are coming into programs that have top players in each grad year above them. Bigger, faster and with more experience. It takes a special talent to excel as a 14 year old competing against 15-18 year olds. So they go to Maryvale, McD, SPSG and assume they will be a star out of the box. It’s nuts. [/quote]
