Kids want to be with friends they know and they all think HS is just club 2.0 and it isn’t.

This is so true. The girls and parents of 8th graders who start on a good club team believe that means they will make and contribute to varsity as freshman at A conference schools.

They are coming into programs that have top players in each grad year above them. Bigger, faster and with more experience. It takes a special talent to excel as a 14 year old competing against 15-18 year olds. So they go to Maryvale, McD, SPSG and assume they will be a star out of the box. It’s nuts. [/quote]
